Ringe art bench - Termini - No. 13
Termini is thought of as a kind of promenade or belvedere towards the lake.
Artist : Poul Ingemann (since 1952)
The 55 m long and approx. 2.30 m high art bench was inaugurated on 23.12.2015. And it now stands as a shining example of how a skilled artist can reconcile the artistic expression with practical use.
Lengths and spaces in the sculpture are based on Fibonacci's series of numbers, which gives the art bench its dynamism and ruinous character, while at the same time the figure creates a densification at one end and a deferred solitary place at the other.
